APC Building Surveyor An established firm of Independent Chartered Surveyors are seeking an APC Building Surveyor to strengthen their team. The role will involve a mix of professional and project-based building surveying work on all types of residential property, and some commercial. Role & Responsibilities of the APC Building Surveyor: Assisting the Building Surveyors with inspections and writing reports. Assisting and preparing specifications for and administering repair and refurbishment contracts Assisting and preparing and Assessing License to Alter applications Assisting and preparing planned preventative maintenance plans Assisting and undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments Assisting and undertaking defect inspection. Assisting and compiling CDM information. Assisting with co-ordination instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time, including fee quoting. Undertaking Party Wall Surveying duties. Undertaking Condition Schedules. Skills & Experience of the APC Building Surveyor: Degree in Building Surveying Driving licence Ability to work within a team and on own initiative Must be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated Must have strong verbal and numerical skills and be comfortable with report writing Salary & Benefits Annual Salary – £30,000 to £45,000 Subject to Experience. Mobile Phone. 25 Days Holiday. Plus Bank Holidays. Discretionary Annual Bonus. APC and RICS membership fees paid for. APC training and CPD paid for by the company.
