Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will work with those who are directly impacted by their own substance misuse and the people who care for them, family members and friends; as well as working with key partners to empower communities. Where: Southport Part Time Hours: 15 per week Full Time Salary : £23,251.47 - £24,466.99 (pro rata for part time hours) About the role: P rovide a welcoming and consistent environment in open access area Creat e links with local communities and work to target people affected by drugs and alcohol who are not in touch with mainstream services – those isolated in communities, unaware of services, or who do not feel services are for them A ttend t eam meetings/group supervision with the aim of sharing good practice and finding solutions M eet individuals within the community to discuss their personal goals regarding their recovery and to support families affected by drugs and alcohol to discuss their personal goals and support needs U tilise existing local resources and build local community awareness, signposting to relevant agencies A ssist the Volunteer and peer Mentor Coordinator in setting up and identifying specialist advice /support and recovery opportunities.
