Our client is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join their growing team.
The role of the Contracts Manager - Commercial Cladding Systems will involve:
* Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage through to completion.
* Monitoring all site activity; organizing all site workers, collating risk assessments, and carrying out health and safety checks.
* Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project.
* Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients.
* Procuring required materials to ensure the project is completed smoothly.
* Overseeing project designs and making amendments where required.
* Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
* Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems.
* Managing projects that range in value between £500k to £3m.
The ideal applicant will have:
* Experience as a Contracts Manager within the commercial cladding markets sector with a working knowledge of rainscreen systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Sound knowledge of current building and fire regulations.
* IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
* A full UK driving license.
* Confidence and articulation.
* The ability to plan and organize deliverables.
