Location: Derby
Pay: £45K + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
Shift: Days / 37.5 hrs per week
Contract: 12 MFTC with a view to go permanent

Business Development Executive opportunity
Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in the Commercial Vehicle Industry? We're looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales, revenue, and profit growth through new business opportunities. Please note this is a fully office based role
Business Development Executive duties
* Research key business sectors and analyse data to develop strategic sales plans.
* Utilize online marketing and social media to generate leads and attract new business.
* Identify and target SMEs for contract hire and related opportunities.
* Develop and execute a New Business Development Plan with clear goals and milestones.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining profit margins.
* Maintain an up-to-date CRM system and manage a database of prospects.
* Provide accurate sales reports and updates to senior management.
* Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and reporting requirements.
Business Development Executive experience required
* In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicle acquisition methods (rental, contract hire, leasing, etc.) would be highly beneficial
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets with the HGV / LCV sector
* Strong consultative sales approach with a solutions-focused mindset.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and identify opportunities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling proposals.
* Proven track record in sales, with the ability to negotiate and build lasting relationships.
* Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
