Job Title: Lettings Team Leader
Type: Maternity cover, to 12 months

Main Responsibilities:
1. Directly line manage, lead, and develop a team of Lettings Officers and Assistants through annual Performance Development Reviews, job chats, and coaching.
2. Lead on the management and delivery of new development first lets.
3. Deputise for the Lettings Manager in their absence.
4. Be actively involved in the planning and development of service provision.
5. Provide reports on performance delivery; take appropriate action to address any potential performance shortfalls.
6. Handle tenancy changes for Ongo tenants.
7. Deliver services to our customers using a coaching approach.
8. Be the systems champion for the team, ensuring staff are properly trained and effectively using all systems, and contribute to the development and revision of systems and processes.
9. Lead on the development and revision of policies and procedures, considering customer needs and involving all relevant internal and external colleagues.
10. Represent the Lettings Team at meetings with internal and external agencies and partners, and develop effective joint working.
11. Uphold the Company's policies in all aspects of work, e.g., Data Protection, Equal Opportunities, Diversity, Health & Safety Policy, etc.
12. Be aware of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children and report any concerns via Ongo's Safeguarding policies and procedures.
