This post involves providing a Help at Home Community Support service as required by individual clients living in their own homes. This involves companionship, attending appointments, cleaning and shopping for clients. No personal care is required.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be given. You need to have empathy and patience with a genuine desire to help others. Good communication skills are essential and an ability to maintain confidentiality. It is essential that the successful candidate has a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes, as the nature of the work will involve travelling. You will also require basic business insurance. A mileage allowance will be paid (45p per mile).

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with availability between 9.00am–17.00pm (No evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays)
Rate of Pay: £11,897.60 per annum - with an increase in April 2025
