Located in a beautiful setting in Hadleigh Country Park our busy, fast-paced café welcomes visitors 7 days a week throughout the year and hosts many activities and events, including live music evenings during the summer. As a Relief Catering Assistant, you will cover all areas of the catering operation on an ‘as and when’ basis; which includes, but is not limited to, greeting and serving customers, preparing food and drink, stock taking and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. We are looking for confident, outgoing individuals that thrive under pressure and enjoy being part of a hard-working team. To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Strong communications skills A confident, friendly and outgoing personality The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment The ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative The ability to adapt to changing situations Hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential, full training will be provided Shifts could be up to 9 hours long and will involve lifting and carrying items of up to 15kg.
