Main purpose of role: Book appointments for the financial advisers by contacting new and existing clients whilst providing a 5-star service. Grow knowledge and experience working alongside qualified Adviser and with the aim of providing mortgage & protection advice to clients once qualified.
Location: Hampton Hill
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow up leads and book appointments for potential new clients
2. Follow up mortgage reviews and generate appointments
3. Sit in on client appointments and draft follow up communications
4. Recommend the best deal for the client
5. Print illustrations and comparables
6. Recommend Life cover, prepare life quotes and follow through to close
7. Place Mortgage and life cases on the Smartr system
Systems and Processes:
1. Learn the Mortgage Brain System
2. Key Agreements In Principle (AIP) prior to submission of full application
3. Research quotes on Mortgage Brain
4. Become fully conversant with the Smartr system
5. Understand electronic identification process (EIDV)
Research and Market Knowledge:
1. Research mortgage products to identify the best deal for the client
2. Recommend panel Solicitors
3. Understand different types of surveys
4. Ensure Sesame Learning Plans are dealt with as and when they fall due
5. Read and understand Sesame compliance manual
Requirements:
1. Proven interest and skills in sales
2. Thorough understanding of all applicable legislation (list key requirements)
3. Committed to study for CEMAP 1, 2 and 3 examinations
4. Ambition to succeed
5. Familiarity working within the estate agency or mortgage environment would be preferred
