Our Client A leading international practice is in the process of building out its London funds team under the leadership of an accomplished partner with extensive expertise in both onshore and offshore fund structures. This is a unique opportunity to join the practice at a formative stage, where you will work across a diverse range of fund types, including private equity, real estate, credit, and infrastructure. With strong mentorship from senior leadership, you will have the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the practice from day one. The Role The funds team advises clients across the entire lifecycle of investment funds and structures — from initial formation and fundraising to transactions, restructurings, and exits. You will work on high-value, complex fund structures as well as bespoke syndicates, joint ventures, and single-asset deals. The client base includes major fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and family offices. Your role will involve significant client exposure, allowing you to develop your advisory skills in a highly strategic practice. This position provides the opportunity to work on a wide variety of matters, ensuring no two days are the same. Requirements 1-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong background in fund formation (Common Law layers are also welcomed) Strong academic background and stable career history Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to engage in varied work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with onshore and offshore funds structuring — experience with Jersey/Guernsey funds is a strong advantage.
