What you will do:
Metro Bank recently announced a strategic pivot to Corporate and Commercial Banking; the Business Management team will be at the heart of this strategy, ensuring we have clear people, process, technology and product plans across all of our Corporate & Commercial teams.
As the Business Management & Delivery Manager you will be responsible for delivering business critical initiatives across the Corporate & Commercial banking teams. You will collaborate closely with team leaders across the Bank and analyse, plan and deliver targeted process transformations and execute MD sponsored projects all aimed at easing the delivery of commercial goals and removing pain points/bottlenecks that absorb front line capacity.
1. Identify process improvement opportunities across teams that impact frontline capacity, growth and customer journeys and work collaboratively with teams to drive improvements and monitor impact.
2. Project manage and deliver fast paced; business critical projects linked to the overall delivery of the Corporate & Commercial long-term plan (LTP).
3. Co-own the Corporate & Commercial internal/external comms plan with the Brands, Marketing and Comms teams, delivering topical, data driven team, deal and plan updates.
4. Produce material to keep the MD of Corporate & Commercial, Head of Business Management, and teams leads up to date in terms of initiative delivery and changes across the business.
5. Create and manage a data driven approach to benefits realisation to track the delivery of process enhancements across teams aligned to future growth.

What you will need:
1. Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.
2. Experience of building business strategies, process reengineering or project/programme delivery within a Commercial Banking environment or Management Consulting.
3. Understanding of Corporate & Commercial products, services and teams.
4. Excellent knowledge in developing business cases and roadmaps; demonstrated aptitude for commercial thinking and ability to prioritise.
5. Experience of delivering solutions with defined success metrics.
6. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to manage, influence and present to stakeholders up to MD/Exec level.
7. Strong understanding of how to manage change, from conception through to delivery.
