Then you might be interested in becoming a Reablement Assistant. Reablement is offered to people over 18 in Warwickshire for a short period of time, no longer than 6 weeks. Those people may have a disability, be frail or recovering from an illness or injury. We are a dedicated team committed to helping people to live as independently as possible in their own homes. A reablement assistant provides support to a variety of customers who may be finding parts of their daily routine difficult. By following personalised care plans, they encourage and motivate people to have the confidence to regain skills, enabling them to manage tasks such as washing, dressing, medication and meal preparation for themselves. This is an extremely rewarding role. Not only will you be making a positive difference, you will be able to see it first-hand as the customer progresses through the reablement service. Reablement is a 7-day service covering the hours from 7 am - 10 pm every day of the year. We cover all areas of Warwickshire: We have a North and South base. North areas: Rugby/Dordon/Kingsbury/Curdworth/Hartshill/Nuneaton/Bedworth South areas: Kenilworth/Leamington/Warwick/Stratford/Alcester/Shipston Key Requirements The shift patterns are on a rolling rota for Reablement Assistants and are as follows: 2 weeks of 7 am - 2. 30 pm 1 week of 2.30 - 10 pm Including every other weekend and bank holidays. The maximum hours are 25 per week and these are guaranteed. A 25-hour contract is spread over 5 days. So you would only be working 5 hours within the shift but would need to be available for the whole shift. Rate of pay starts at £12.59 per hour up to £13.47 per hour; Sunday and Bank Holiday enhancements. Having use of a car and a full driver’s licence is essential for this role. Mileage allowance is 45 pence per mile for your travel. There is so much progression available in this role if you are looking to grow your skills within a supportive team.
