INSPECTOR
What is the objective of this role and what does it consist of?
ITP Aero UK are recruiting for an Inspector to join our growing team in Hucknall, United Kingdom. This role is full-time (37 hours per week). The successful candidate will work as part of a team to contribute to delivering aerospace products on-quality and on-time, operating in accordance with safety requirements.
What profile are we looking for?
It is essential that the successful candidate:
1. Possess a recognised time-served apprenticeship within an Engineering discipline at NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds Level 3, or BTEC national or equivalent qualification. This needs to be clearly evidenced in an uploaded CV along with relevant certificates.
2. Can demonstrate experience in using a variety of measurement equipment, working to engineering drawings, work instructions and specifications.
3. Is IT literate, with experience in Microsoft Office preferable.
4. Has experience with CMM and/or FARO arm programming is preferable.
5. Can demonstrate a flexible and adaptable mind-set and be willing to develop new skills. On the job and classroom training will be provided.
6. Understands the importance of ensuring a clean and safe environment is maintained in the workplace.
7. Knowledge of lean principles and process basics, problem-solving skills, knowledge of quality tools, systems, and procedures, good interpersonal skills, has worked in a customer-focused environment that is subject to change, has worked to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and customer delivery commitments, has participated in continuous review and improvement processes.
Who will I work with (in my team and in collaboration with other areas)?
You will work at ITP Aero’s Hucknall site, located in Nottinghamshire. Your team will comprise of professionals with extensive experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry, consisting of a skilled workforce and integrated Manufacturing and Design Engineering capabilities.
What are the working hours?
37 hours per week, working on the following 3-Shift Pattern:
Afternoons: 1.48 pm – 9.30 pm Monday-Thursday
1.48 pm – 7.00 pm Friday. Some production areas have the option of opting in to a voluntary 24/6 shift pattern once suitably trained.
