An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join our team. This position is Head of Care, and it is to work in a rewarding student environment, supporting children between the ages of 4 -18years of age who have a Visual Impairment, Learning disability with complex medical/ behavioural needs. This is a high-profile senior leadership role and will be responsible for delivering key transformational changes in Complex Care, Under the direction of the School Governors and working closely with the Central Services Team and School team, the role is to oversee and hold responsibility for the Care Division within the Charity. The role will create an environment of collaboration and engagement with our internal teams and our key external partners and communities to develop an asset-based approach to improve outcomes for people and place. To provide strategic and operations management to ensure that the service meets the needs of children who use services and their carer’s, and that performance is monitored and managed. Provide operational and professional leadership, direction and management which results in the delivery of effective, efficient, quality-assured and person-centred care. Leading initiatives to drive improved performance, teamwork, and operational excellence within the Charity Protect and prevent the abuse of children and young adults by ensuring that Safeguarding underpins all areas of children’s lives.
