This role: Mechanical Projects Engineer is with a Midlands-based Building Services Contractor who, over the last 30+ years, has maintained a reputation for quality and service. You will be responsible for project management, coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical HVAC systems within commercial and industrial buildings with values of up to £6M+.
As a Mechanical Projects Engineer, you will be:
1. Managing mechanical aspects of projects within the commercial and industrial sectors.
2. Managing the whole contract costs from inception to final account, keeping track of labour and material expenditure, forecasts, and P&L.
3. Developing system specifications and preparing construction drawings and documentation, plant and equipment schedules for mechanical HVAC systems.
4. Placing orders with suppliers and subcontractors.
5. Managing subcontractors.
6. Providing technical support to clients.
