Job Description:
We are Everything Tech Group; an award-winning IT Company based in Manchester, Burnley & Derby. We are looking for a HR Manager to join our Business Support Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as maternity cover.
Job Purpose:
At Everything Tech Group, people are at the core of everything we do. Reporting to the Finance Director, the HR Manager is integral in fostering a positive and engaging work environment, aligning our operations with our core values, and driving the Group's success through the development of our colleagues. Delegating administration activities to the HR Administrator, the HR Manager proactively works with the Senior Leadership Team and all people managers to ensure HR policies and initiatives support the Group's goals and that best practices are actioned. The HR Manager has responsibility for all HR practices at Everything Tech Group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compliance: Ensure and take ownership of all HR policies being compliant with UK legislation.
* ISO Compliance: Take responsibility for all HR practices being ISO Compliant.
* Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including dispute resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
* Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal systems housed in our HR System and outside of it to drive high performance and address development needs.
* Learning and Development: Work with leaders in the business to identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee skills, engagement, and career progression.
* HR Metrics and Reporting: Prepare with assistance from the HR administrator regular reports on HR metrics and interpret and present them effectively to inform strategic decisions.
* Employee Engagement: Design and action initiatives such as employee voice tools and CSR activities to improve employee engagement and productivity across all locations.
* People Management: Proactively manage the HR Administrator, delegating administrative tasks where needed and providing support on escalated queries and issues.
* Internal communications: Work with the marketing manager to consistently send internal communications.
* Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the HR administrator in their support of the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
* Contract Harmonisation: Some work towards the standardisation of the Group's employment contracts across all entities to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with company policies. However, given the fixed-term nature of this role, this may be a lower priority. Awareness of contract harmonisation would be ideal.

* Proven experience as HR Manager or similar role.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with varying stakeholders.
* The ability to familiarise yourself with new HR software systems quickly.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
* Experience in harmonising employment contracts and standardising HR policies across multiple organisations would be ideal.
Key Relationships:
* Department Managers across all sites.
* HR Administrator.

* External partners and stakeholders.
Hours of Work:
