Job summary Band 6 Emergency Department Junior Sister/ Charge Nurse Reporting to Senior Sister/Charge Nurse. Reporting to Senior Sister/Senior Charge Nurse at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate Kent. Main duties of the job Responsible for the assessment of clients both adult and paediatric entering the Emergency Department, prioritisation of treatment, delivery of care and evaluation. To carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and required to demonstrate procedures and to supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff. The post will require the holder to work on other sites within East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, in order to meet service requirements and to ensure that staff maintain and develop their skills.
