Job Responsibilities:
Labourer Duties:
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Move and organize materials on-site, ensuring they are available for tradespeople as needed.
Assist with deliveries, including checking quantities and safely storing items.
Provide support to tradespeople and site managers as required, including basic manual labour tasks.
Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site, always wearing the required PPE.
Welfare Cleaner Duties:
Ensure welfare facilities, such as toilets, canteens, and changing rooms, are clean and well-maintained.
Replenish supplies, including soap, paper towels, and cleaning products, as needed.
Keep the welfare areas tidy and free of hazards.
Routine Inspections:
Conduct regular checks to maintain hygiene standards in all welfare areas.
Notify the site manager of any issues or repairs needed in welfare facilities.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow COSHH regulations when handling cleaning materials.
Ensure cleaning practices align with site health and safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in construction labouring or cleaning
* Knowledge of site health and safety standards.
* Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS card
* Own PPE, including safety boots, high-visibility clothing, gloves, and a hard hat.
* Willingness to undertake manual tasks and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
