An exciting opportunity to support the generation of reliability test data for environmental trials. This role is essential for ensuring test results meet the high standards expected by internal teams, customers (including those in the automotive sector), and external auditors.
Position Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:30 pm
Salary: Up to £24,000

It would suit someone with experience in basic electrical work, soldering, or semiconductor technology, and who thrives in a structured and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct tests on a variety of package types for engineering evaluations.
2. Operate equipment such as environmental test chambers, X-ray tools, and microscopes.
3. Perform ATE testing of customer returns, including micro manipulation and soldering.
4. Assemble PCBs and solder components for biased condition testing.
5. Load and unload components for environmental testing.
6. Manufacture internal reliability hardware, including motherboards and program cards.
Minimum Requirements
Good soldering and PCB assembly skills are required.
