Chef de Partie – Lymington, £29,000 - Guaranteed tips – package around £32-33k
A beautiful, privately owned, boutique hotel based in Lymington is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to run a section in the kitchen, either starters/sauce or mains. This role has scope to work under a talented Exec Chef and to really progress your career in a great kitchen using fresh, local produce.

Location: Lymington
Hours: 5/7 days, 45 hours all overtime paid, shifts will be 11am-9pm with an hour break.
Salary: £29k plus £3-4k in tips
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie will Include:
1. To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards.
2. To support the manager in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within a budget.
3. To be responsible for maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge.
4. To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation.
5. Ensuring portion and quality control.
6. To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations.
What You Need To Be a Successful Chef:
1. Previous Experience as a Chef de Partie - preferably in hotel/gastro pub and to a rosette level.
2. NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required.
3. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
