Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our primary school in Barry.
This role involves supporting the learning and development of children in KS2, providing individualized assistance and promoting inclusivity within the classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff, and have a passion for helping children succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized support to students with varying learning needs
* Assist teachers in lesson planning and implementation
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Requirements:
* Relevant experience working with children or in an educational setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Compassion and empathy when interacting with students and their families
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience
