This unique role is based at a site in the RG7 area—providing you with the rare opportunity of limited travel while working closely with a standout client. What you’ll do:
* Develop detailed scope from RIBA Stage 4 to RIBA Stage 5 for manufacture and installation
* Read and understand Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC Specifications
* Develop design in accordance with HAL standards
* Read and understand Mechanical and Electrical Drawings
* Read and understand Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC services drawings
* Liaise with Consultant and Client to develop, agree and approve the final design
* Create, develop and get approvals for:
o BMS Points Lists
o Operating and Maintenance Manuals
o Equipment Schedules (choosing and sizing equipment)
o Valve Schedules (choosing and sizing valves and actuators)
o Integration of high-level system, across a number of disciplines
o Manage the production of the software and graphics
o Work within commercial budgets and time constraints (Contract Programme)
o Liaise with Panel Manufacturer, to arrange panel build and check panel schematic wiring diagrams and get approvals
o Manage and attend Factory Acceptance Tests with Consultant and Client
o Update documents as required and provide final documentation
o Attend meetings with the site professional team
o Work with our clients online e-document system
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience within Building Management Systems
* Experience with AutoCAD or similar package
* Familiar with the Schneider produce
* You must be able to easily commute to the RG7 area
* Applicants must be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process
* A passion for engineering and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficient in Word, Excel and an understanding of MS Projects
* Due to client requirements, applicants must be British Nationals and hold a British passport
