About the Technical Assistant role:
You’ll support the Technical department through product testing, internal audits, complaint handling, and documentation maintenance.
Key tasks include:
* Conducting internal audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed on time, and managing KPIs.
* Ensuring product quality meets BRC and customer standards through testing, sampling, and auditing.
* Identifying and addressing Health & Safety issues to maintain a safe environment.
* Handling customer complaints and ensuring satisfaction.
* Collaborating with the Raw Materials & Specifications Technologist and NPD team to maintain up-to-date specifications for compliance.
About You:
Ideal candidates may be recent graduates in Food Science/Technology or have technical/quality food manufacturing experience. Qualifications like food safety, legal labelling, HACCP, or BRC standards are a plus but not essential.
This full-time position is based in Boston, Lincolnshire, offering a salary up to £28,000 plus a welcome bonus. Benefits include performance bonuses, pension, health & wellbeing programs, life insurance, and the option to work from home. The role follows office hours, Monday to Friday, and is commutable from nearby towns.
