Job description Chiltern Connections is a well-established business based in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire which provides conformal coating, distribution and engineering services to a wide-range of industries. Our Production Team coat printed circuit boards (PCBs) with protective materials for our customers. The Production Technician role involves a range of tasks including checking incoming PCBs, preparing them for spraying or hand coating, applying materials by hand, and cleaning and quality checking the assemblies prior to packing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a team-player with enthusiasm, patience, a willingness to learn hands-on skills, and excellent attention to detail. Find out more about our business at: www.chilternconnections.co.uk Key Responsibilities: Check, clean, mask, wash, inspect, demask, touch in and quality check PCBs Ensure all customer property is carefully handled and quality controls followed Support the Goods In team to check in and inspect PCBs Follow instructions on job route cards and maintain accurate records Comply with all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, processes, equipment maintenance, and workplace health and safety rules and regulations as directed Other Duties Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe work environment Undertake any relevant training Support colleagues in other teams as required Essential Excellent attention to detail An understanding of the importance of quality and health & safety in a production setting Great communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively Willingness to use IT devices (work mobile phones, tablets) and learn new systems Hard-working and responsible with a positive, can-do attitude Keen to learn, adaptable and committed to continual improvement Desirable Experience of working in a busy production environment Knowledge of, or previous experience working with, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) Benefits include: Excellent working conditions, PPE and H&S training Generous holiday Company pension On-site parking Wellbeing programmes Employee discounts Life insurance and sick pay If you believe you would be a good fit, please send us your CV and brief covering note explaining your interest in this role via Indeed.
