Legionella Risk Assessor – Newcastle

We’re currently looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join a well-established and dynamic team based in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where you’ll play a key role in helping clients manage their Water Hygiene and ensure compliance with Legionella regulations.
Working across a variety of sectors, you’ll be responsible for providing expert assessments, solutions and advice to clients on Legionella control, ensuring a safe environment for their occupants and reducing any potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic and commercial water systems
* Advising clients on water hygiene management and improvements
* Developing and implementing sampling programs for Legionella
* Creating schematic drawings and suitable systems of control
* Offering tailored solutions to ensure compliance and reduce risks
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessing and Water Hygiene Control (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years’ experience in Legionella Risk Assessing
* Experience managing water hygiene monitoring programmes
* Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across various properties
