About Our Practice
Our practice is situated in the heart of Staffordshire, an area bursting with culture, attractions, and great transport links to major cities. From the rugged beauty of the Peak District to the serene woodlands of the National Forest, there’s plenty to explore. Plus, we’re close to the Cheshire border-one of Britain’s most picturesque counties!
Established in 2009, our small animal practice has recently undergone rapid expansion, relocating to a state-of-the-art facility spanning 4,500 square feet across two floors.
Our incredible facilities include:
1. On-site CT scanner
2. Rehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy
3. Dental radiography suite
4. 7 consultation rooms, two theatres, and a diagnostic imaging suite
5. In-house laboratory and multiple gold-standard hospital wards
We pride ourselves on keeping the majority of procedures in-house, ensuring high standards of care while providing opportunities for professional growth.
Our team is currently 4 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 6 Client Care Advisors. Lindsey has over 20 years of experience in advanced levels of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery and Jane holds a Cert AVP with an incredible talent and passion for Medicine and will be heading up the CT diagnostic imaging.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
1. Has good general nursing experience (an interest in physio/hydrotherapy is a plus!)
2. Delivers excellent customer service
3. Is cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic
4. Has a genuine passion for animal welfare
This is a Full or Part Time role working 20 to 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am to 12pm).
