Join Our Team as a Transport Administrator!
Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional with a passion for logistics? We’re looking for a Transport Administrator to support the efficient operation of our transport department. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving, this role is for you!
Location: Basildon, UK
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00 to 17:30
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Transport Administrator, you will:
* Perform clerical duties to manage transportation activities.
* Process, prepare, and verify all relevant transport documents.
* Handle discrepancies and overages efficiently.
* Plan and optimize routes for the CODI fleet.
* Attend driver Pre-Communication Meetings (PCM) when required.
* Conduct Driver on Road Supervision (DORS) when needed.
* Monitor and manage delays to minimize stop times.
* Maximize load capacity and efficiently schedule drivers and vehicles.
* Address and resolve any transport-related issues as they arise.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Previous experience in transport administration or logistics (preferred).
* The ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in transport management systems (advantageous).
