Main purpose: The role holder will deliver exceptional client service acting as part of the Commercial Sales Team, supporting Lansdown's "right first time" approach to customer service.
About the role
Lansdown Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our Cheltenham office.

Key responsibilities
* Manage, service and grow a book of existing Commercial Business.
* Develop, negotiate, and profitably sell business within own authority and in line with Lansdown’s strategy.
* Attend external events to promote Lansdown.
* Plan, prioritise and manage individual work to deliver agreed objectives and meet SLAs to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Use the appropriate method of communication to support Lansdown’s right first-time approach in order to maintain successful internal and external relationships.
* Understand and operate within the regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business.
* Assist in the growth of Lansdown - New Business and Renewals.
* Achieve set targets agreed upon.
* Any other duties required from time to time.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Excellent, professional, and confident communication skills.
* Good understanding of Commercial Insurance, including but not limited to, Commercial Combined, Commercial Property Owners, SME, Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers.
* Proven sales ability.
* Flexibility.
* Ability to manage workload.
* Ability to develop relationships with clients, agents, insurers, etc.
* Ability to construct effective written communications.
* Work well within a team especially under pressure.
* Confident numeracy skills.
* Qualified Cert CII or commitment to work towards within an agreed timescale.
* Market, Industry and Company knowledge.
