We are pleased to assist our longstanding and highly valued client with their temp to perm opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator. This would suit a person wishing to start a career within Purchasing. Hours of work, Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.00 and Friday 07.30 - 12.30 (37 hour working week). Duties to include:- Reception and switchboard duties. Assist with data entry, maintaining and updating office databases. Communicate with Suppliers. Expedite Purchase Orders. Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying and filing. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence. Support the team members with administrative tasks as required. GCSE qualifications in English and Maths Business administration NVQ Level 2 or 3 an advantage. Experience of administration in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage. Used to working as part of a small team and being flexible to carry out any task required to ensure customers' needs are met. Experience in dealing with customer and suppliers via the telephone or email Able to communication with people at all levels
