Collect, compile, and analyse relevant data and solve daily issues and challenges related to tasks and development initiatives. Maintain safe working environment and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in drafting and posting job adverts. Screen CVs and schedule interviews. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all new hires are integrated smoothly. Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies. Handle HR documentation, including contracts, probation reviews, and role changes, learning and maintain accurately the HR systems. HR Administration: Prepare HR reports and metrics for management. Manage absence records, and support managers in conversations regarding absences. Support the payroll process by providing accurate and timely data. Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees. Support disciplinary and grievance processes by preparing documentation and taking notes during meetings. Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures. Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records. Assist in performance appraisal processes. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an HR role or relevant administrative position, ideally within the manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of UK employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems. CIPD Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards it. Desirable Skills: Experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Knowledge of payroll systems and processes. Personal Attributes: High attention to detail and accuracy. Proactive and able to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
