About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Trade Support VP to lead daily operations within the Customer Services team. This pivotal role involves ensuring adherence to key controls and deadlines while acting as the primary point of escalation for operational issues. As a strategic leader, you will work closely with Team Leads to facilitate cross-training, succession planning, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations to ensure timely execution of cash pooling, interest management, and payment processing.
Manage a team of 2 direct reports while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for applicable products and projects, facilitating communication and delegation across teams.
Enhance operational efficiency by participating in strategic initiatives and system enhancements, from requirements gathering to implementation.
Ensure all investigations and customer queries are resolved within 24 hours, maintaining high service standards.
Manage the SAA Messaging database and ensure accurate allocation of SWIFT messages.
Oversee BACS-related products, including timely communication of exception reports and processing of Direct Debits.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on operational matters.
