About The Role In this role you will ensure the New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) processes are completed, on time and in full for the site, for stage 3 & 4 (after NPD handover). You will work closely with a very supportive operational team and enjoy both the office and factory environment. Your main responsibilities will be:- Process Management: You are responsible for overseeing the development process, from the Process handover (after product and commercial sign-off, until launch. This includes both NPD and EPD projects. Communication: Effective communication is crucial in this role. You'll need to maintain regular communication with key stakeholders to ensure everyone is updated on project progress. Project Management: Strong project management skills are essential to ensure that all projects stay on track. You'll need to manage timelines and ensure that all tasks are completed on time. Documentation: Accurate documentation is important for regulatory compliance and product consistency. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all required documentation is completed correctly. Collaboration with Site and Retail Teams: You'll collaborate with site and retail teams. This likely involves understanding of their requirements and incorporating them into the product development process. Supplier Collaboration: Working with suppliers is a key part of this role, involving sourcing new raw materials and processes. You'll also need to handle paperwork related to these supplier interactions. Factory Trials: Coordinating and possibly attending factory trials to ensure that production processes are effective and meet quality standards. Production Runs: Overseeing the pre-production and first production runs to ensure product consistency and quality. QAS document support: Our technical team are responsible for writing the QAS, the Process Specialist will collect supporting documentation from all trials and be responsible for ensuring everything is correct and ready to present to the customer at pre-production, as well as ensuring amends are made before launch. Post-Launch Reviews: Attending post-launch reviews to assess how products are performing in the market and making necessary adjustments to the process, product or packaging. About You In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined in the job description, there are several key qualifications and attributes that are essential for success in this role at Greenside Manufacturing, Bradford. Passion for the FMCG Industry: A genuine passion for the meat industry or Pastry products and a dedication to delivering high-quality products to customers are fundamental. Passion for a fast-paced factory environment: Enjoys working closely with the operations, engineering, technical and packaging departments to ensure trials, pre productions and launches go as smoothly as possible, being at the forefront of all these key milestones. Exceptional Communication Skills: You should possess the ability to inspire and engage with stakeholders at all levels and across various functions within the organization. Clear and persuasive communication can facilitate collaboration and project success. Strong Project Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in Process is crucial for this role. You should have a track record of successfully managing a portfolio of products from NPD handover to launch. Relationship Building Skills: Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders is a vital part of this role. Your ability to connect with and influence others will be important for project success.
