About The Role
Swim England West Midlands Region has an exciting vacancy for a new Regional Chair. This is an opportunity to join the region during a period of evolution and change, with the recent release of the new 4-year strategy, which focuses on robust governance, supporting and educating the workforce, improving communication, growing the membership, and strengthening relationships along the pathway.
We welcome applications from individuals passionate about driving change and improving our services, as well as those enthusiastic about bringing key stakeholders together, motivating them, and working in partnership, with the members of the region at the heart of every decision made. While experience in the aquatic community is beneficial, we acknowledge that someone from a business, financial, or sports background may also significantly contribute to driving our strategy and ambitions forward.

It is essential to find someone who can readily attend and chair meetings and address issues as they arise. If you have experience in good governance, chairing a board or committee, driving strategic plans and goals, and possess strong communication, organizational, and people management skills, we want to hear from you.
