This post will involve working across a wide multidisciplinary team of professionals within a paediatric healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be based within our well-established Paediatric Health Psychology Team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Paediatric Health Psychology Service is committed to child and family centred care. The Paediatric Health Psychology Team is part of the wider department of Psychology in Healthcare, enabling collaboration and support with adult psychology colleagues. There are also close links with the Doctorate Clinical Psychology course at Newcastle and Teesside Universities. To support and enhance the professional psychological care of patients Providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist To assist in clinical related administration, conduct of audits, data quality work, teaching and project work This post involves working independently according to a work plan agreed with line manager and within the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you.
