We are looking to recruit a Band5Staff Nurseto ourcompassionateand innovativeteam based atWokingham.Whether you are an experienced staff nurse or have recently qualified, we will ensure you receive devoted, effective support from both your manager and colleagues within your team.
Workingwithin theWokinghamarea to deliver core and targeted services to children aged 5-19 and their families, you will require excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with great communication skills and a passion for working with children and familieswhilst being able to adapt to continuing change.

Base:Your base will beWokingham Hospital,BarkhamRoad, Wokingham RG41 2XRalthough, as this is a community role you will be expected to travel.
Hours:30 hoursper week term time (39 weeks per year)but there is flexibilityfor all year round,to discussfurtherat interview.
• Deliver targeted support to children, young people, and their families, where there is an identified health need, such as the coordination of health care plans
• Undertake training of school staff in the administration of emergency treatment and care (e.g. Severe Allergic Reaction, Asthma and Epilepsy) and provides updates asrequired.
• Assistin the delivery of nurse led clinics, i.e. enuresis and referral clinics
• Provide targeted health interventions to children and young people with identified health needs.
• Work independently within educational settings, in the planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion activities.

• You must be a Registered Nurse active on the NMC register
• A degree of agility and the ability to carry/manoeuvre light to moderate loads
• Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites
