Our beautiful nursery Old Stables Exeteris looking for a welcoming Nursery Manager to join the team!

Job summary:
The role consists of 32 hours per week, supporting a positive staff team to provide a calm, caring environment for the children in our care.

The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and supported to flourish in an environment which promotes each staff member to be the best version of themselves.

Work directly with the Nursery Manager to ensure the Nanny Bears standards are being upheld, maintain parent relationships and support with management tasks.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes
6. Have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare
7. Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development
8. Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning
9. Have strong written and verbal communication skills
10. A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework
11. Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
12. Ideally previous experience in a similar role
13. Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family
14. Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities
15. Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
16. Good organisation and delegation skills
17. Previous experience working with outside agencies desirable
