As Fund & Governance Policy Analyst you'll be responsible for managing all risk and governance for SJPUTG funds and compliance with the governance framework. You'll be responsible for ensuring the funds are being managed in line with regulatory requirements and relevant policies with robust documentation and evidencing of standards. The role will work with accountable teams in Investments and across the Group with responsibility for SJPUTG funds and related policies.
What you'll be doing:
* Fund oversight for all regulated funds to ensure adherence with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Review of policy implementation across Investments.
* Breach and incident management, including root cause analysis and working with teams to ensure completion of remediation.
* Preparing management reports and contributing to formal reporting.
* Working with teams across the Group responsible for meeting fund regulatory requirements and policies.
* Building good working relationships with Chief Risk Office and the Trustee.
Who we're looking for:
Essential experience:
* Experience in the asset management industry, with a focus on risk, governance, or compliance.
* Good understanding of the regulatory frameworks for investment funds, including UCITS and NURS, and governance frameworks.
* Strong attention to detail with experience in fund oversight, compliance monitoring, and documentation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across Investments and the SJP Group.
Desirable experience:
* Relevant professional qualification or working towards one (e.g., CFA, CISI, or similar).
* Experience in breach and incident management, including root cause analysis and remediation.
* Familiarity with regulatory reporting and policy implementation within asset management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive improvements.
