This role is for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the overall maintenance, repair and improvement of production machinery within a high-volume environment in the Derbyshire region. The successful candidate will ensure high levels of operational effectiveness.

Description
Perform regular inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Execute timely repairs on faulty machinery to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement production efficiency improvements.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Document maintenance procedures and machinery audits.
Manage spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
Provide training to the production staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.Monday - Friday

Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Technician should have:
A recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.Job Offer
