What You Can Expect
As a Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS), you will be integral to the daily management of any successful sales region. You will be responsible for working alongside the Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, and Sales Managers to service hospitals and provide technical support to all stakeholders within our customer base. Additionally, as the CSS, you will deliver bespoke training to ensure Surgeons and Scrub Staff are competent to operate safely and efficiently with Zimmer Biomet products, attending surgeries as necessary to provide real-time support to cases.
How You'll Create Impact
* Giving Technical Advice in the OR on Zimmer Biomet Recon Products
* Provide all the necessary training in the use of Zimmer Biomet products
* Sales lead generation within Platinum & Silver customers
* Manage logistics around procedure planning and consignment stock
* Provide onsite support for product demonstrations and educational initiatives
* Follow all internal communication and documentation policies (QA)
* Adhere to divisional sales strategies under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager
* Devote adequate time to acquiring the necessary knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitive products required for effectiveness
* Keep SalesForce up to date for accounts
* Undertake other duties such as attendance at sales meetings, exhibitions, staff training, etc. when required by the Regional Sales Manager
* Provide a monthly report to the Regional Sales Manager, outlining performance, activities, and competitive situation
* Demonstrate the ability to accept and adapt to different working practices as required by surgeons and hospitals while maintaining Zimmer Biomet protocols
* Full knowledge of divisional product portfolio
* Proficient in training others
* Understanding of technical medical language and anatomy to interact with surgeons and theatre staff
* Proven organizational skills and effective time management
* Confident and engaging presentation skills
* Ability to solve given problems quickly and efficiently
Your Background
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
* Strong networking capabilities and sound business acumen to identify, plan, and execute services
* Strong knowledge in Orthopaedics, with specific knowledge of competitor's products and strategies
* Significant level of clinical expertise
* Strong presentation skills, customer-centric, relationship, and communication skills
* Entrepreneurial, target-oriented, and organizational skills
* Analysis capability and problem-solving skills
* Team spirit and willingness to learn
