Piping Site Technician Position Location: Chester Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Organize and oversee daily piping activities, delegating tasks to team members and coordinating with subcontractors and other departments. Interpret piping isometric drawings, blueprints, and plans to ensure installations meet project specifications. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to address design changes or discrepancies in the field. Supervise and monitor piping teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, accurate work execution. Track project progress and provide daily updates on task completion, challenges, and any necessary adjustments. Ensure all work adheres to current health, safety, and environmental regulations. Qualifications: Proven experience in large-scale construction projects, particularly in sectors such as oil and gas, water treatment, power, or heavy industry. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification is required. NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Available to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Must hold a valid CSCS Card or equivalent certification.
