We are looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager and Corporate Tax Manager to join our Transaction Taxes team.
Job Purpose:
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit both a Corporate Tax Senior Manager and Corporate Tax Manager to join our Transaction Taxes team. Location flexible.
A role in our Transaction Taxes team will put you front and centre of our clients’ ambitions. We advise on the tax implications of a full range of transactions, from acquisitions and disposals to MBOs and internal reorganisations.
It’s a role with diverse requirements and huge learning opportunities, firmly rooted in a spirit of partnership with our clients.
The Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):
* Lead on delivery of technical tax advice on a range of issues, including mergers & acquisitions, exits, refinancing, equity raising, debt raising, and business reorganisation.
* Lead on delivery of tax due diligence assignments.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, providing excellent client service and identifying opportunities to provide value-added services.
* Collaboration with wider firm colleagues to deliver a seamless client experience, including those in Corporate Finance, VAT/indirect taxes, Innovation Taxes, Entrepreneurial Taxes and Wealth to name but a few.
* Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate the impact of these changes to clients and colleagues.
* Participate in business development activities, including attending events, presenting to clients, and identifying opportunities to grow the Transaction Taxes offering.
* Support and promote continual development of junior colleagues through training, coaching and provision of timely developmental feedback.
About You:
* A highly experienced Tax professional, operating at Manager grade or above.
* Relevant experience in this or a similar corporate tax or private client tax advisory focussed role is preferred.
* A leader of your work and your professional learning.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others.
* Qualified CA and/or CTA (or equivalent) is essential.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Business development experience and a history of identifying and converting new business opportunities.
* Experience of line management/coaching an advisory team is desirable.
