Hywel Dda UHB is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and motivated full time Primary Care Officer to support the Primary Care Community Pharmacy Team with both operational duties and service development. The team oversee the 97 NHS community pharmacy contracts within Hywel Dda. The post holder will be based in either Haverfordwest or Carmarthen, which would be discussed on appointment of the successful applicant. The post holder will be self-motivated and hard working with a readiness to learn and play an active part in supporting community pharmacy services. Applicants will need to have previous experience of administrative work, be computer literate and have a high degree of attention to detail. Main duties of the job To provide comprehensive operational support to the Primary Care Community Pharmacy Team in the management of community pharmacy contracts. To establish systems for the routine collation, analysis and interpretation of performance information for pharmacy contractors. The post holder should have a flexible approach to a varied workload and be able to work autonomously and as part of the community pharmacy team and the wider Primary Care Team.
