Asset and Lifecycle Manager

Our client is a leading provider of facilities management and asset lifecycle services, working with clients across a wide range of sectors. The team of Asset and Lifecycle professionals is dedicated to ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and value across all client assets. They are currently seeking an experienced Asset and Lifecycle Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As the Asset and Lifecycle Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of the clients' assets. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with the strategic goals of the clients. This role requires a deep understanding of asset management principles and expertise in implementing systems in accordance with ISO 55001 standards.
Main Duties:
1. Develop and implement asset management strategies and plans in alignment with ISO 55001 requirements.
2. Oversee the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of assets to maximize value and efficiency.
3. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures, in accordance with the clients' standards and individual contract requirements.
4. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of asset management practices across the organization.
5. Monitor asset performance and lifecycle costs, providing recommendations for improvements and cost savings on a monthly, annual, or contract-specified basis.
6. Manage asset data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility at all times.
7. Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Prepare and present detailed reports on asset performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management, taking ownership and ensuring follow-up on actions.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Diploma in Asset Management or equivalent qualification.
2. In-depth knowledge, implementation, and maintenance of ISO 55001 standards in asset management.
3. Proven experience with maintenance models and standards, including SFG20, and their application in asset management.
4. Significant experience in asset lifecycle management, ideally in a similar industry.
5. Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with senior management.
7. Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in ISO 55001 or related asset management certifications.
2. Project management experience, particularly in an agile working environment.
