At our GSC Worthing site, we have a proud heritage in global manufacture of oral antibiotics (solid dose and dry powder suspension), The site also manufactures bulk export material for use at other manufacturing sites in our network. On site we produce over 50 million packs to our patients each year, with growing demand in the future. The project is a key site strategic objective and will deliver step change improvement in the tablet packaging area by upgrading multiple packaging lines including the installation and validation of new equipment and harmonising the packaging portfolio in line with sustainability objectives. Manage and coordinate change requests, ensuring they are evaluated, approved, and integrated into the project plan while communicating changes effectively to all stakeholders. Lead the execution of the programme plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to GSK's standards and methodologies. Oversee the programme budget, monitor financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed to stay within budget. Ensure delivery against the programme plan by managing identified risks appropriately and integrating safety and quality into all processes. Provide robust reporting through tiered accountability and governance. Coordinate and lead a cross-functional team through matrix management - - agree lower-level milestones and escalation process for resolving any delays to ensure key milestones and programme goals are met in alignment with equipment upgrade / delivery timelines. Agree and track artwork and regulatory milestones across multiple markets Foster motivation and development of the whole staff through adequate performance management, feedback, coaching, training, and communication. Organize the collection of user needs and the interface between users and engineering services for new facilities/building projects or upgrades. Support Line Managers in the development of training plans. Manufacturing at the Worthing site is for antibiotics. Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Project and Programme Management Experience: Possess a project/programme management qualification or equivalent, with demonstrated skills in planning, prioritization, delegation, and the ability to lead project governance with senior managers. Experience managing large-scale, complex technical and/or capital projects is essential. Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated effective communication skills (both written and oral) tailored to various audiences. Strong ability to manage and influence stakeholders at the site and across the wider business, building strong relationships and collaboration, including senior stakeholders and steering committees. Strategic Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Ability to use and interpret data to drive decision-making at a tactical level. Demonstrated capability to work with project teams to identify novel solutions to specific project-related issues and apply agile and distributed decision-making to balance pace, rigour, and risk. Demonstrable root cause analysis capability. Operational and Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements, with an understanding of packaging operations with experience in the Pharma industry with a focus on regulatory understanding. Continuous Improvement and Change Management: Proven capabilities in enabling and driving change, delivering robust and sustainable solutions, and developing people. Experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques, and promoting a culture of continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement. Experience of acting on lessons learned, leading CI projects and initiatives and sharing best practice. Leadership and Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead, develop, and manage individual and team performance. Exhibit strong leadership and presentation skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results, translating strategy into action, and managing budgeting and financial forecasting. Strong influencing skills and managing mindsets and behaviours.
