Family Support Worker

What you'll be doing:
Providing support to children, young people, adoptive families, and birth families.
Working directly with children, young people, and their families to promote their potential and develop strong and stable family relationships.
Undertaking life story work and compiling Life Story Books to prepare children for adoption and transition.
Planning, supervising, and assessing post-adoption contact between adopted children and their birth parents or extended family.
Facilitating, delivering, and evaluating specialist group work, support groups, and training.
Working in partnership with other agencies involved in family support and early intervention.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of interventions with children and families.What we're looking for:
A compassionate, dedicated, and resilient individual with a strong commitment to supporting children and families.
Experience working with children, young people, and families in a supportive or therapeutic setting.
Knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practise.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
