Administration Officer Salary: Grade D Spinal point 5-6 £24,790 - £25,183 Hours: 36 Location: Southport Town Hall / Agile Permanent Post to commence after 01/04/2025 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the varied business support team within the Community Safety and Engagement Service. This role will support the day to day administration of the whole Community Safety and Engagement portfolio. This includes Domestic Abuse services, including Domestic Homicide Review admin support. Anti Social Behaviour team, Neighbourhood management team, Welfare reform and Anti – poverty, Hate Crime and Equalities, and Voluntary Community and Faith engagement. The successful applicant will support a range of these services with administrative tasks. They should have good organisational and administrative skills, able to multi-task with a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication skills and discretion are essential as you will be the first port of call for staff and members of the public. Whilst the main base of this post will be at Southport Town Hall, the successful applicant may at times be required to work at other locations across the borough. Working from home for part of the week may be possible in line with service needs. Responsibilities include: Managing Multiple Inboxes Arranging meetings, minute taking Data input General administrative duties Financial Systems and processes.
