Shift Pattern: Live-in 7 days on / 7 days-off
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £170 per 12-hour shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
Bespoke training: in the client's particular requirements will be provided.
On-call support: from client coordinator.
About Our Client
Our client is a final year Zoology student at the University of Reading, who has a diagnosis of Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user. She enjoys social activities such as eating out and cinema visits.
About The Job
This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference in someone's life by assisting our client to achieve her goals and aspirations. You will provide academic support as well as health and social care. This role includes all the fun activities a university student would engage in, such as going out with friends, attending parties, and managing household tasks.
You Will Need
* To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
* To have a good sense of humour.
* A mature and responsible attitude.
* Good communication skills.
* To be fluent in English.
* To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
* To be a non-smoker (preferable but not essential).
* A full clean UK driving licence - you need to be a confident motorway driver as you will be required to drive the client's adapted vehicle.
