Job role: Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Bias Salary: £40,000-£42,000 per annum Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Hours: 2/2/3 panama days/night Weekly Rotations (6:00-18:00 / 18:00-6:00) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Package: · Overtime available – 1.33x · 28 days including bank holidays · Pension subject to auto-enrolment - Employee contribution 5% (minimum) and Employer contributes 3% · Medical scheme · EAP scheme The Role: · Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes. · Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance. · Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption. · Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance. · Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns · Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
