Scientific AdministratorPertemps are actively looking for a Scientific Administrator to join a busy client based in ReadingAs a Scientific Administrator, you will be responsible for:- Ensure samples are logged into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in an accurate and timely manner.- Ensure the efficient throughput of samples in CSA from receipt to laboratory.- Sub-sample multi-lab project samples, strictly adhering to all requirements of QSOP-149.- Liaise with customers to ensure correct information is available. Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as an interface with customers and deliver excellent customer service- Ensure consistency, technical precision and compliance with methods of work and look to identify improvements.- Develop good working relationships with RSSL colleagues particularly in the laboratories and customer services.- Work as part of the CSA team to high standards of safety and quality.- Collaborate with Operational Teams to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.- Able to work under pressure and adapt to meet an ever-changing customer environment.- Communication & Influence- Work as part of an efficient team- Liaise with clients, commercial, site administration teams and line management to ensure effective communication.- Work to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate COSHHs, risk assessments and SOPs are understood and followed.- Complete assigned quality actions on a timely manner- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.- Understand and work to the requirements of GMP and UKAS or Home Office regulations as required.- Ensure training records are up to date and accurate.The ideal candidate for this Scientific Administrator role would possess the following:- Accountable, honest, hardworking and able to work efficiently in a team- Flexible and adaptable to meet customer/business requirements.
