The Emergency Medicine CDG at Ipswich Hospital is looking for a creative, dynamic individual to join the leadership team as a Personal Assistant, on a fixed term contract until 30th June 2025. You will bring your NHS knowledge, skill and experience to support the Clinical Delivery Group (CDG).
You will need to be highly organised, practical, reliable and efficient and have a flexible approach to the role; working on their own initiative as well as working effectively as part of the wider divisional team. Duties will include proactive forward planning, fielding emails and telephone calls, management of complex calendars, meeting management (agenda setting, distribution of paperwork according to an established timetable, high quality minute taking and follow-up of actions).
You will be responsible for a portfolio of meetings. To be successful in this challenging but rewarding role, they will thrive under pressure, have the drive and courage to solve problems and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. You will be diplomatic with highly developed communication skills, the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and will have proven IT experience.

To provide an effective, comprehensive personal assistant service to the General Manager and Matrons.
Dealing on a regular basis with confidential and, sensitive information relating to staff and services.
Provide a comprehensive, high quality business support service for the senior management team, including typing/word processing of letters, minutes, reports and other routine correspondence, using own initiative.
Maintain the corporate diary for the Group, and be aware of the corporate diary for ESNEFT, including deadlines for submission of papers and reports.
