Due to new contract awards within our marine division, we are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the necessary resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction. M ain duties will include: Developing a project plan and ensure the necessary resources are organised to meet the plan. Continually monitor progress and take all necessary steps to ensure the completion date is met. Developing a project budget and ensure the project is delivered within that budget Ensure that all work is carried out to the client’s specifications. Ensure that the project resources i.e. staff, labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors are effectively managed. Liaise with clients and their agents to advise on progress and problem resolution as required. Ensure contractual conditions are adhered to and the contractual position is not compromised. Monitor the financial performance of the project and take all necessary steps to minimise costs. Proactively develop relationships with clients. Proactively participate in value engineering to maximise project contribution. Ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained throughout the project and that all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures are adhered to. Attending meetings and surveys with the client representatives in locations around the world. Delivering projects on a worldwide basis Candidates should have extensive project management experience of interior fit-out for Superyachts, relevant qualification, excellent leadership, planning and communication skills with the ability to keep calm under pressure, make decisions and solve problems. Great attention to detail, commercial acumen and cost control are essential as is the ability to build and promote successful customer relationships. This project will be based in three Northern European locations starting in Norway, the job holder must be happy to travel and work in Europe. During pre-construction phase work will take place at our HQ in Northern Ireland.
